Wind Turbine Saga at Oakcreek Buffalo Ranch

Cancel all the good things I said about the turbines in the past. Its been a waste of money. They simply do not hold up and have generated practiaclly zilch in the way of usuable power. They are still under warentee but one is currently dangleing from the post by a few wires. No sign yet of the 'repair guy'.

There is good news though. By using the fireplace rather than electricity for heat, the electricity was radically lowered. I have learned to keep me warm rather than the house. Mostly I simply dress warmer and turn down the thermastat, and use an electric blanket at the computer or TV chair. The best news is that you can cut your electric bill and conserve energy simply by changing a few habits and it requires no investment at all.
